Class Description and Curriculum
 
 
 
Pre-Ballet:classes designed for ages 3-6 and include more structured, curriculum-based classes designed to introduce music, movement, and grup interaction. fundamental ballet technique and terminology are introduced in this program in a way that is engaging to young children. Skills taught will support ther continued development in the student/pre-professional program or in elective ballet classes and enrichment classses including jazz, modern, pilates.
 
Classical Ballet Program: For ages 7- 19 this is a carefully graded, complete classical ballet curriculum with a Vaganova/Cuban syllabus. The curriculum includes technique, pointe, pas de deux and variations. It is enhanced by contemporary dance forms and designed to prepare students for the eclectic demands of college dance programs and programs and professional dance companies.
 
Intensive Classical Ballet Program:For ages 11-23,  this is a more rigorous course of study with a Classical Ballet Program and includes competition preparation in both group sessions and individual coaching.
 
Ballet for teens and Adults: Elective ballet classes offered as individual classes that can be attended on the student's schedule.  
 
Modern, Jazz and Conditioning: Classes for all ages offered as an integral par of the classical ballet programs or as stand-alone classes for recreational dancers.
 
Workshops and Intensives:The Ballet conservatory of  Salt Lake City will schedule weekend, school holiday, summer intensives thaugh by national and internationally acclaimed coaching, and exposure to the larger community of professional dance.
