WELCOME TO THE BALLET CONSERVATORY
OF SALT LAKE CITY
CLASSICAL AND CONTEMPORARY BALLET SUMMER INTENSIVE
This intensive is a program that immerses the aspiring dancer in world-class training. Dancers will see a difference in their body and in the way they dance every day while training with nationally and internationally recognized faculty and guest faculty. The Ballet Conservatory of Salt Lake City Intensive offers a close working partnership between student and teacher - a personal mentoring relationship. All faculty have expretise in dance education developed from highly accomplished professional dance careers and years of instructing student all over the world.
Curriculum and Tuition
The curriculum of this Intensive is designed to improve the classical components of a dancer's training: line, placement, strength, musicality and the artistic qualities of movement required of classical and contemporary ballet. Daily classes include ballet technique, ballet pilates, pas de deux, classical variations, pointe/men's classes, repertory, modern and contemporary.
Assignment to levels is based first on age. Placement in levels 2 and 3 will be determined on the first day of the Intensive.
Level 1 ages 4 - 7 6/13 - 6/17 Monday - Friday 9 am - 12 pm $ 300
Level 2 ages 10-13 7/11 - 7 /15 Monday - Friday 9 am - 12 pm $ 300
Level 3 ages 14 & up TBA Monday -Friday 9 am - 5 pm $1000.00
LEVEL ONE CREATIVE DANCE CAMP
The Creative Dance camp is for ages 4-7. Each week will be a different theme including Disney Princesses, Tinkerbell, and Jungle Book. The week will involve daily ballet class with warm up and stretching, arts and crafts, and singing. A daily snack will be provided with water, juice, and a variety of healthy snack foods. You may also bring your own snack if you would like. At the end of the week there will be a little demonstration for the parents to show off all that the children have learned duing the week.
TUITION
The Registration Form for the Summer Intensive and Creative Dance Camp will be available online the begining of April. Please download the registration form and mail it in to us or bring it into the studio along with a $100 deposite to reserve your place in the intensive and camp. The $100 deposite will count towards your overall tuition for the session. The full tuition payment must be paid for by May 30th.
